Second Belize City man shot Sunday night

By Aaron Humes: Twenty-one-year-old Vanny Thomas was the second victim of gunfire on Sunday night about half an hour before the shooting on Banak Street that injured Denvoy Bartley.

Thomas was cycling on the right side of Central American Boulevard going north toward 88 Shopping Center when he was interrupted by gunfire coming from across the thoroughfare in front of Southside Butane service. Thomas was hit in the body while at the corner of Matura Street and the Boulevard.

Thomas is in treatment and police investigation continues.
