By Benjamin Flowers: Barbados is reducing the quarantine time for vaccinated travelers, according to the Carib journal.
New travel regulations announced by the government of Barbados, which will be rolled out on May 8, sees travelers who present a vaccination certificate, along with a negative PCR test within the past three days and a negative rapid test result upon arrival, will only have to quarantine for one to two days. These regulations will also apply to children under 18 years of age who are traveling with fully vaccinated adults.
In addition to presenting the negative PCR test on arrival, unvaccinated travelers will have to quarantine for five to seven days and take a second test five days after their arrival.
Carib Journal noted that Belize is the only Caribbean country that has decided to wave pre-testing requirements for vaccinated travelers.
