Flags to be flown at half-mast to honour the late Prince Philip Duke of  Edinburgh

By Benjamin Flowers: The Government of Belize has announced that all flags will be flown at half-mast and that church bells be tolled on Saturday,  April 17, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. as a sign of respect and mourning the death of His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.   

Prime Minister John Briceño made the announcement today on the recommendation of the Governor General H.E. Sir Colville Young.

Prince Philip, the late husband of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, died on April 9, at the age of 99. 

His funeral service Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
