COVID-19 update: Nine new cases detected

By Benjamin Flowers: The latest COVID-19 update produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) shows that there were nine newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported today.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 749 tests. New cases were split between two females and seven males.

Those new infections have brought up the national total for confirmed cases up to 12,522, while the daily positivity rate stood at 1.20.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
