By Zoila Palma: On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, Jose Mai met with Belizean Cattle producers and Mexican cattle buyers representing a company in Vera Cruz, Mexico.
Mai says that the plan is for BAHA to carry out an inspection of a corral in Shipyard with the intention to register it to be used for quarantining animals prior to export to Mexico.
Mai explained that Mexican buyers will inspect the cattle at the earliest to ensure it meets market expectations.
“Thanks to CEO Servulo Baeza, Ing Jesus Sosa and César Armando Rosales Cansino for attending,” Mai said.
