AstraZeneca remains committed to supplying COVAX

By Zoila Palma: Today, at a COVAX event, the CEO of AstraZeneca, Pascal Soriot said that it has provided 38 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to COVAX.

Soriot added that AstraZeneca remains committed to doing so but called for open borders.

The CEO said that his company had some challenges in being able to deliver large quantities of the COVID-19 vaccines and that they are focused on boosting production.
