COVID-19 update: Nine new cases detected

By Benjamin Flowers: There are seven new cases of COVID-19 in Belize according to the latest national update from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 1,059 tests. New cases were split between two females and five males.

Those new infections have brought up the national total for confirmed cases up to 12,529, while the daily positivity rate stood at 0.66.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
