Only two patients currently hospitalized due to COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize is again close to having no patients hospitalized due to COVID-19.

The latest statistics released from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) show that there are only two patients in a standard COVID-19 unit and none receiving critical care in an Intensive Care Unit.

There has only been one new recovery from the virus reported today, bringing the national total for recoveries up to 12,141.

The MOHW also noted that there are 60 active cases of COVID-19 and another 188 suspected cases under investigation.
