More than 33,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

As the COVID-19 vaccination campaign countrywide, 33,180 people in Belize have been vaccinated.

The daily vaccine report is at 3,241 for April 15.

Of the 1,059 tests conducted, there were 7 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed.

There are 60 active cases of COVID-19.

Those that have been vaccinated are also reminded to continue to practice all precautionary measures.
