U.S. Embassy closed for 2 weeks for water-tank cleaning

By Zoila Palma: The United States Embassy in Belize has informed that it will be closed starting today while self-contained water tanks at the embassy are cleaned.

The Embassy says this is in response to recent water quality concerns on the embassy compound.

The embassy noted that the current estimate for the cleaning period is around two weeks.
