By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service say warm and dry conditions will continue around the country today.
For the next 24 hours, it will be sunny and hot today, then partly cloudy and continuing warm tonight. There is the chance of isolated showers developing tonight.
High temperatures are to hit 92 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 104 degrees in inland areas and 86 in the hills. It will be 81 degrees tonight along the coast, 77 degrees inland and 68 in the hills. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for rough seas at times, in large easterly waves.
High tide is at 12:30 p.m. this afternoon and low at 8:21 p.m. this evening. The Sun sets at 6:09 p.m. and rises at 5:34 a.m. Sunday.
Generally, fair weather will prevail with isolated showers on Sunday morning. Then, a few showers and thunderstorms will develop over inland and northern areas Sunday afternoon, increasing in the night. Heavy rainfall is possible, especially over the south.
