More than 34,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

As the COVID-19 vaccination campaign countrywide continues, 34,262 people in Belize have been vaccinated.

The daily vaccine report is at 1082 for April 16.

Of the 711 tests conducted yesterday, there were 9 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed.

There are currently 67 active cases of COVID-19.

Those that have been vaccinated are also reminded to continue to practice all precautionary measures.
