Warm and mostly dry weather continues, but changes come later today, says the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be partly cloudy this morning with isolated showers, then cloudy this afternoon with some showers and thunderstorms firstly over inland and northern areas, then across the rest of the country tonight, especially the south.
High temperatures are 92 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 98 degrees inland and 86 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 74 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 66 in the hills. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible.
Winds are from the southeast at 5 to 10 knots; the sea state is choppy.
High tide is at 1:16 p.m. followed by low tide at 9:23 p.m. The sun sets at 6:09 PM and rises on Monday at 5:34 AM.
Outlook: Showers and thunderstorms will become isolated during Monday, but will increase again Monday night, especially over inland areas.
