Marc Anthony streams “Una Noche/One Night Only” concert for free on YouTube after the livestream collapsed on Saturday night

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Latin pop star Marc Anthony uploaded his “Una Noche/One Night Only” concert for free on his YouTube channel for 24 hours as of 3 p.m.Belize Time yesterday, after his livestream failed on Saturday night.

In apologizing for the streaming glitch, Anthony said he had demanded of all the promoters to refund all paying fans as of yesterday.

PageSix reported that the show which had been promoted worldwide could not be streamed live. Anthony apologized saying “overwhelming demand” caused a major tech glitch that kept the show from being streamed.

Marc Anthony’s “Una Noche/One Night Only” concert was to have featured a guest performance by Daddy Yankee.

Billboard reported that an estimated 100,000 tickets had been sold.

PageSix said the concert was to have been streamed via Maestro, a platform that last year supported shows by Billie Eilish and Tim McGraw.

Ninety minutes after the concert was to have started streaming, Anthony posted on social media, “We are experiencing a delay.”

It was not until 1:30 a.m., that the announcement was made that the show could not be streamed.

At the time, Anthony promised to make it right.

Yesterday he delivered: “I promised you a concert and I’m going to honour you with the recorded version of the entire show you couldn’t see.  The show will be available totally free on my YouTube channel. The concert will premiere today, Sunday, April 18, at 5 p.m. ET (available for 24 hours). I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support and understanding.”
