Store in Santa Elena robbed at gunpoint

By Benjamin Flowers: On Sunday, two men robbed Quan Ji store in Santa Elena Town, holding the store owner and his wife at gunpoint.

Young Quan Ji, 51, told police that around 2:45 p.m. the robbers entered the shop as if they intended to buy something.

One of the men then pulled out a gun and placed it to his head then forced him to the ground while the other man looted the cash register.

The robbers made off with $600 in cash and four cell phones.

Police are investigating.
