Weekend storm causes technical problems at Vital Statistics Unit, some services suspended

By Benjamin Flowers: The Government of Belize (GOB) says that some services at the Vital Statistics Unit are suspended as the office is experiencing technical difficulties due to a storm on Sunday, April 18.

GOB said that technical problems have rendered the office unable to facilitate applications and process payments; however, the offices will still facilitate registrations as per usual.

“We are currently working as quickly as we can to resolve the issue. We deeply regret any inconvenience this has caused and hope to soon resume providing our services to the public,” GOB said.
