Lord Michael Ashcroft reflects on 1 year of COVID-19 in Belize

By Zoila Palma: This morning on Open Your Eyes, Lord Michael Ashcroft spoke about how he remained in Belize, the Caribbean and the US from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ashcroft said that he has not been back to the United Kingdom since February 2020.

Some of the changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic included the use of virtual platforms for doing business.

He reflected on how shopping in Europe has changed from retail to fully online.

With relation to his businesses, Ashcroft said that the problems that had to be solved were the hardest.

“For the first 6 months in Belize, and managing my companies around the world, the problems that had to be solved have been the hardest,” Ashcroft said.

During his travelling, Ashcroft says that he has since taken 15 COVID-19 tests.

He has also received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
