By Zoila Palma: On April 20, 2021, Cabinet met and approved for the resumption of non-contact sports.
The Government also approved the resumption of training only for those involved in contact sports as well as to allow for recreational sports.
In addition, Cabinet will review the protocols in relation to sporting activities in the next few months with a view to allow for spectator sports.
The decision comes after members of the sporting community had met with Minister of Youth, Sports and E-Governance, Kevin Bernard and discussions began on the safe resumption of sports.
