Ministry of Health and Wellness reports over 100 active COVID-19 cases

By Benjamin Flowers: There are now over 100 active cases of COVID-19 in Belize, according to the latest data released from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s latest COVID-19 national update shows a total of 102 active cases, with 11 new cases being reported today.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 726 tests. New cases were split between eight females and three males.

Belize’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 12,596, while the daily positivity rate stood at 1.52.

There are also 210 cases under investigation.
