Step Up 5k for Autism run is on today April 24

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Step Up 5k for Autism Run is on today.

The run is a one-day event for runners worldwide who want to help Ambergris Caye’s Camp Starfish in aid of autism during Autism Acceptance Month.

Registration can still be done today at  totaltimebz.com.

If you’d like to donate to the cause, you can do it at the same spot or with Kent ‘Bob’ Gabourel and Dalia Alamilla in Belize or Sarah Bol in the United States.

The contribution is BZ$10 if you’re participating in Belize and US$10 if you’re participating outside of Belize.

Since it’s a virtual event participants can run or walk any location, anytime of the day. Participants can run/jog/walk their own race, at their own pace, and time it.

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in both the men’s and women’s categories.
