Warm and dry weather will persist over the area, says the National Meteorological Service. Skies will be sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. No rainfall is expected.
High temperatures are 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 100 degrees for inland areas and 86 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 80 degrees along the coast, 72 inland, and 66 in the hills. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots; the sea state is moderate.
Tides will be high at 8:30 a.m., then low at 3:04 p.m., then high again at 9:18 p.m. The sun sets at 6:11 p.m. this evening and rises Monday morning at 5:29 a.m.
Outlook for Monday and Monday night is for continuing warm and dry weather conditions.
