Belize City man detained after police find illegal gun, ammo and cannabis in home

By BBN Staff: A Belize City resident is detained pending charges for kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license and possession of controlled drugs.

On Wednesday, police searched a home on Kut Avenue in Belize City where they found (1) .380 pistol with a magazine containing (4) .380 Aguila rounds and (1) 9mm Bursa brand pistol with (1) magazine containing (9) 9mm rounds (5) Aguila and (4) Luger Bran.

 They also found (15) .380 Aguilar Rounds.

Police also found 31 grams of cannabis inside the home.

The person is expected to be charged today.
