Belize Police Department receives brand new vehicle from business community

By Zoila Palma: The Port of Big Creek, Banana Growers Association, Belize Natural Gas, and Holy Redeemer Credit Union joined efforts to purchase a brand new 2020 Ford Ranger 4 door pickup truck for the Belize Police Department.

In an official ceremony, Chairlady, Elizabeth Zabaneh handed over the keys of the vehicle to the Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries Kareem Musa.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams and the new officer commanding the formation, Ocatviano Victorin received the new vehicle.

“The new police vehicle will greatly assist the police officers in their daily policing duties in the said village & neighboring communities,” the Police Department said.

Commissioner Williams and the Belize Police Department extended their gratitude to the businesses that purchased the vehicle.
