From the hills of the West to the U.S. Army, David Robinson represents

By Zoila Palma: Belizean David Robinson graduated from the United States Army in Fort Leonard Wood on April 29.

Robinson was born in San Ignacio, Belize. He is the son of well-known Belizean photographer Adma Chuc-Robinson.

In his hometown, David attended St. Andrews Anglican school and Sacred Heart College.

He found his passion to serve in the military in Belize while participating in the police cadet corps.

An athletic enthusiast, David was awarded many trophies and medals for his successes in both sports.

He moved to the US when he was 17 years old to further his education at the College of Lake County. In 2018, David met his lovely wife, also Belizean, Ellen Galvez Robinson.

David’s continued to work toward his goals and aspirations while faithfully recognizing that God continues to guide him.

On September 16, 2020, David was sworn into the United States Army and graduated basic training on April 29, 2021.

David and his wife, Ellen, will continue their education at the Southern Adventist University in Tennessee.

David aspires to become a physical education teacher while serving in the U.S. Army.
