By Zoila Palma: On April 29, 2021, the Mexican Embassy in Belize recognized Belizean students who participated in the XXIV Children’s drawing contest “Este es mi México.”
The theme of the contest was “Alebrijes: fantastic figures around the world.”
Ambassador of Mexico to Belize, Martha Zamarripa gave the certificate of recognition to the children who submitted their drawings.
In addition, the 2021 drawing contest is now open for submissions using the theme of Mexican Indpendence.
Belizean children are also encouraged to participate.
