BREAKING NEWS: Public Service Union president denies and disavows involvement in tire burning on highways

Posted: Wednesday, May 5, 2021. 12:42 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: President of the Public Service Union (PSU) says that while he cannot control the actions and movement of his membership, he is reasonably sure none of them was involved in multiple incidents of tire burning on the major highways reported this morning.

On social media, PSU First Vice President Dean Flowers was accused of personal involvement in at least one incident, with yet unsubstantiated claims he had left personal identification behind.

We were unable to reach Flowers for publication of this story, and Henry told us it was news to him that Flowers was being accused, much less might be involved.

Nevertheless and for obvious reasons, Henry disavowed Union participation.

More on this later.
