Minister of Agriculture Jose Abelardo Mai gives cattle weighing scale to farmers in Vaca, Cayo

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Minister of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MOA) Jose Abelardo Mai today presented a scale to the livestock farmers in Vaca in the Cayo District during his two-day tour of the western district.

The MOA said on Facebook that Minister Mai started Day 2 of his tour with a “field visit at Vaca Cattle Producer farm, where a cattle scale was handed over to the cattle producers. These cattle producers are located at the Waterhole area.”

Yesterday, Minister Mai and a delegation of 40 members visited farmers in Springfield, Valley of Peace, and Barton Creek.

The delegation is comprised of international agriculture partners, technical staff, and operations staff of the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA).

Today Mai and his entourage also visited with the San Antonio Women’s Group and the Dan Lopez livestock and crops farm.
