By BBN Staff: Belizeans have been granted access to parks, caves, creeks, rivers, and archeological sites on Sundays and public and bank holidays.
However, tour guides contacted BBN to inform that the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) has changed that policy.
Belizeans will now be charged to visit Barton Creek Cave on Sundays and holidays.
In addition, there is an ongoing discussion on charging Belizeans to swim in the creek.
