By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department says that two teenage girls 15-year-old Chelsie Portillo and 14-year-old Marlene Castro, who were reported missing yesterday, have been found.

The Department issued a statement this afternoon, noting that they were found earlier today and expressing gratitude to everyone that contributed to the girls’ safe return.

Both girls had left their respective homes yesterday around 6:30 a.m. headed to the Marion Jones Sporting Complex to go work out but did not return.

BBN joins the Department in thanking the public for the assistance rendered while the teens were missing.
