Taiwan Embassy in Belize thanks parliamentarians for expressing support for Taiwan’s participation in World Health Assembly

By Zoila Palma: The #TaiwancanHelp campaign has been launched worldwide in an effort to garner support for Taiwan to be included in World Health Organization (WHO) activities specifically the World Health Assembly (WHA) that will be held this month.

Parliamentarians from around the world including Belize have extended support for Taiwan’s participation in the World Health Assembly.

Senators were joined by the Speaker of the House of Representatives as well as the President of the Senate calling for Taiwan’s inclusion.

The Taiwan Embassy in Belize issued a statement today thanking senators, members of the House of Representatives, and the Government of Belize for voicing out to support Taiwan’s inclusion in WHO and WHA.

“Taiwan looks forward to continuing to work with Belize to further strengthen the partnership,” the statement said.
