Gerald Tillett Jr. shot dead from behind in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating another murder in Belize City.

On Thursday night, 17 year old Gerald Tillett, Jr., was on bicycle on Water Lane headed toward Mosul Street.

An armed man then fired at him from behind, catching him multiple times in the body and causing near instantaneous death.

Tillett’s body awaits a post-mortem examination while police search for the killer.

Tillett Jr. is son of late Gerald “Shiney” Tillett who was killed some years ago in Dangriga.

Police investigations continue.
