Taiwan Ambassador to Belize meets Belmopan Mayor

By Zoila Palma: Today, Ambassador of Taiwan to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien met Belmopan Mayor Sheran Palacio and City Administrator Dr. Ludwig Palacio and Councilor Sanie Cal.

Ambassador Chien and Mayor Palacio discussed ways to further deepen the cordial bond between the Embassy and Belmopan City Council.

Ambassador Chien also forwarded the congratulatory letter from Taipei City Mayor Ko, Wen-Je, for Mayor Palacio’s election on March 3rd, 2021.

“Taiwan Embassy will continue to facilitate the sister city partnership between Belmopan City and Taipei City established in 2019,” a statement from the Taiwan Embassy in Belize said.
