Two dead, two injured in Belize City shooting last night

By BBN Staff: Two men were killed and two more injured during a shooting on Chruch Street, Belize City, last night.

Police say that Raymond Garcia, 51, Wayne Peteau, 56, Gilbert Moss, 56, and Salomon Alvarez, 51 were socializing in a building when two men on a motorcycle approached them and one of those men fired several shots.

Garcia was hit to the body and died on the scene, while the other three men were taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment, where Peteau later died of his injuries.

Moss and Alvarez received shots to the lower body and are listed as being in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
