By Zoila Palma: Today, the World Health Organization’s COVAX facility is scheduled to deliver COVID-19 vaccines to Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname.
The countries will receive their 2nd batch of the AstraZeneca vaccines, Newsday reports.
Barbados, the Bahamas, and Belize will each receive 33,600 doses on Tuesday, St. Lucia will get 26,400 doses on Wednesday and the Dominican Republic will receive 187,200 doses on Friday.
On March 30, Trinidad and Tobago received its first batch of 33,600 doses.
To date, 60,174 people in Trinidad and Tobago has been vaccinated.
