Man charged with the murder of Kendra Middleton and her 3-year-old son

By Benjamin Flowers: Police have formally arrested and charged one man for the murder of Kendra Middleton, 36, and her three-year-old son Aiden Perez, which occurred on the night of Friday, May 7.

St. Matthew’s Village resident Demas Mendez, Middleton’s boyfriend, was charged for murder on Sunday.

Authorities responded to a call on Friday night to find Middleton’s St. Matthew’s home engulfed in flames.

Middleton’s relatives told police he was seen trying to get into the house, moments before the fire started.
