Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing calls out Guardian Newspaper for ‘false allegations’

By BBN Staff: Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing issued a statement calling out the Guardian Newspaper for posting what it says are “false allegations” about Ministry assets allegedly working on private property.

The Ministry informed that the machinery shown in a video referred to by the Guardian was clearing land for the Ranchito Cemetery and is currently at work upgrading streets in the community.

“At no time has the equipment been used to clear any pasture land for any private individual. The MidH is compelled to defend its teams countrywide who have been working around the clock to deliver service to Belizeans against all forms of lies and misinformation,” the Ministry noted.
