Mother’s Day weekend sees 14 new cases of COVID-19

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ data for May 8 to 10th indicate that of the 1,215 tests done, 14 new cases of COVID-19 were identified. There are now 63 active cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

Fifteen more people have recovered from the virus.

There was no new COVID-19 related death reported.

The Ministry’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues countrywide.

The public is urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves and their loved ones.
