Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan invited to be Commencement Speaker at National Chung Hsing University

By Zoila Palma: Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice Pitts has been invited to her 1st Graduation ceremony since being appointed Ambassador to Taiwan.

Dr. Pitts has been invited to be the commencement speaker at the National Chung Hsing University in June 2021.

National Chung Hsing University is renowned for its Agricultural Department among others.

Two Belizean students are currently attending the University and 1 of them will be graduating in June.

The Embassy of Belize in Taiwan noted that the objective is to increase the number of Belizeans enrolled at NCHU in the field of agriculture that is significant to the development of this industry in Belize.

“We congratulate both Ambassador Pitts on her invitation and our Belizean student graduating from NCHU this year,” a statement from the Belize embassy said.
