By Benjamin Flowers: The national total for patients who have managed to recover from the COVID-19 infection has surpassed 12,300 according to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MHOW).

The Ministry’s data shows that the national total for recoveries now stands at 12,307, with four of those recoveries being confirmed today.

The national recovery rate has also been adjusted to 96.9.

Meanwhile, there are still 63 active cases of COVID-19 in the country, and another 108 suspected cases under investigation.

The MOHW continues to appeal to Belizeans to do their part in the national response to the pandemic by abiding with the established protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and getting vaccinated.
