By Zoila Palma: Prime Minister John Briceno is urging the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones against COVID-19.

Briceno says that the Ministry of Health and Wellness has implemented a strong vaccine program ensuring that Belizeans in remote villages also have access to COVID-19 vaccines.

“All over the world, COVID-19 has caused devastation and new research has shown that vaccinated people are safe and protected,” Briceno said.

He encouraged Belizeans to visit their nearest health centers to get the COVID-19 vaccine and adhere to all precautionary measures.
