Posted: Tuesday, May 11, 2021. 6:54 pm CST.

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the Roaring Creek Village Council donated a new LIFAN L250 motorcycle to the Belize Police Department.

Roaring Creek Village Council Chairman Jervis Banner handed over the motorcycle to Commissioner of Police Chester Williams at a brief ceremony held in the village this afternoon.

Williams then handed over the motorcycle and keys to the officer commanding Roaring Creek Village Sub-Police Station, Assistant Superintendent of Police Denroy Barrow.

“The Roaring Creek Village Council donated the brand new motorcycle in an effort to better equip the police officers daily patrolling & assistance in the strategies of community partnership/policing in the Roaring Creek Village,” the Department said.

The Department also received a donation of a pickup truck recently, as a donation from businesses in Independence Village.
