By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño says his Government is expending its “last, best effort” to satisfy the Joint Unions, with whom its Government team will be meeting on Thursday.
The unions are expected to be part of a social Partner Committee with other stakeholders to address issues of tax reform and collection and general reform, to be formulated in October of this year.
The Prime Minister said it was time to get on with the business of creating change and opportunity for Belize and its people and expressed hope that the unions will agree.
