Ministry of Health and Wellness closes off Nurses Week with visit to nurses

By Zoila Palma: On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Wellness hosted closing ceremonies for the end of Nurses Week activities at the Western Regional and the San Ignacio Community Hospital.

International Nurses Day was celebrated May 12 under the theme “Nurses: A voice to lead: A vision for future healthcare”.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Michel Chebat and the Deputy Director for Health Services in Nursing, Lizett Bell delivered tokens and words of appreciation to the nurses.

The Ministry extended a Happy International Nurses Day to all nurses across the country.
