Minor shot while at home in Hattieville

By Zoila Palma: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Hattieville, Belize.

Dean Martin of Farmer site in Hattieville told police that just after 10 p.m. he was at home with his family when he heard 3 shots.

He then noticed his daughter suffering from a gunshot wound to her body.

She was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where she is listed in a stable condition.

A police investigation continues.
