Western Eagles battle Rural Mix in Cricket Division 2 playoffs on Saturday for a shot to the final

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: On Saturday, in Division 2, Western Eagles and Rural Mix clash at Bermudian Landing in the Barry Bowen/Harrison Parks Division 2 cricket playoff match to determine the second finalists.

Last weekend, Crooked Tree’s Brilliant qualified directly to the finals. As top seeded, Brilliant’s 186-61 win over 2nd seeded Isabella Bank’s Rural Mix gave them a ticket straight to the finals.

In the other playoff match on Saturday, 4th seeded Western Eagles (Rancho Dolores) beat 104-103 the 3rd seeded Sugar Boys of Carmelita.

So, the Eagles now face Rural Mix for a second shot to the finals at 10 on Saturday morning.

Suga Boys finished in fourth place.
