Taiwan launches Formosa Club Caribbean which includes lawmakers from Belize

By Zoila Palma: Taiwan’s Vice minister Tsao Li Jey has launched the Formosa Club Caribbean which includes 100 law makers from the Caribbean including Belize.

The group also includes lawmakers from Haiti, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The club was launched to improve Taiwan- Caribbean relations.

Belize and Taiwan established bilateral relations in 1989 and continue to enjoy a strong diplomatic friendship.
