Tourism Minister wishes all Teachers, a Happy Teacher’s Day!

By Zoila Palma: Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations, Anthony Mahler joined in wishing all Belizean educators, a Happy Teacher’s Day.

“Teachers play a very important role in the lives of their students by bringing out the best in them. They inspire them to strive for greatness, adopt good values, self-esteem and high morale. By imparting knowledge to assist students deal with modern-day challenges they continue to mold young Belizean minds into productive and responsible citizens of Belize,” Mahler said.

“We ask God for his continuous showers of blessings on our beloved teachers,” he added.

Schools around the country have joined in extending teacher’s day wishes to all teachers.
