United States Special Envoy visits Tel Aviv for de-escalation talks between Israel and Palestine

By Zoila Palma: Amidst the raging violence between Israel and Palestine, a U.S. Special Envoy is visiting Tel Aviv for de-escalation talks.

Special Envoy Hady Amr will participate in talks with Israeli, Palestinian, and UN officials.

Meanwhile, an Israeli airstrike in Gaza strip killed 10 people and a Palestinian rocket killed 1 man in Israel today.

The Israeli airstrike also destroyed a building that the military said was used to house assets belonging to Hamas, the Palestinian militant group in Gaza.

Since heightened tensions on Monday, 139 people in Gaza have lost their lives and 9 in Israel.

The United Nations report that an estimated 10,000 Palestinians have left their homes in Gaza since Monday because of the conflict.
