Belize Weather: Fair weather continues

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says fair and warm weather continues. Skies will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees inland, and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures will reach 80 degrees in coastal areas, 74 degrees inland, and 66 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots, the sea state is light chop.

Tides were low at 6:45 AM, to be followed by high tide at 12:54 PM and low tide at 8:52 PM. The sun sets at 6:18 PM and rises Tuesday morning at 5:19 AM.

Through Tuesday, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, isolated showers, and potential inland afternoon thunderstorms developing.
