By Zoila Palma: On Monday, the Central Health Region’s Vector Control Unit received a brand new Nissan frontier pick-up truck.
The vehicle will be used to increase the capacity of that region to expand surveillance activities and conduct vector control services for the Belize district.
The vehicle was procured through the Regional Malaria Elimination Initiative Project.
Chief Executive Officer, Deysi Mendez officially handed the keys to Dr. Melissa Diaz, Deputy Regional Manager, Central Health Region.
